The questions
parents ask.
Still unsure about something? Ring us on 07754 596725 and you will get a person, not a form.
- What age can my child start from?
- Our classes begin from age 2+, introducing little ones to movement, music and dance in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment. At this age it is all about building confidence, developing coordination and discovering a love for dance, while learning to listen, take turns and become more independent in class. As they grow, students have the opportunity to progress through a wide range of dance and theatre styles, developing their technique, performance skills and creativity along the way.
- Does my child need dance experience?
- Not at all. We welcome complete beginners as well as children who have danced before. Whether your child is a toddler or a teenager, we will help find the most suitable class for their age and experience so they can learn, progress and enjoy themselves.
- Can my child have a free trial class?
- Absolutely. We offer one free trial class per new student. We want your child to feel happy and comfortable before committing to a class. A trial gives them the chance to meet their teachers and new classmates, join in with the class and see what Studio 7 is all about.
- What should my child wear to their first class?
- For their first session there is no need to purchase uniform straight away. Something comfortable that they can move freely in is absolutely fine. Once they have settled into their class, we can advise you on the correct Studio 7 uniform and dance shoes.

What families say

My daughter has been attending Studio 7 for 3 years and absolutely adores it! It's a wonderful dance school and Miss Lauren is fantastic. Super friendly. My daughter wouldn't be any where near as confident as she is today without Studio 7
My daughter struggled recently with anxiety, she wouldn't leave my side without crying and being inconsolable. Since starting here with Miss Lauren and the other ladies her confidence has grown, she sleeps better, her whole attitude is so much better. Thank you for helping my daughter be her best self
Miss Lauren and her team have been fantastic in supporting my daughter to build her skills and self confidence. They go above and beyond to support and encourage pupils whatever their age or skill level. The ethos is friendly and encourages teamwork and friendship alongside dance and performing arts.
